This t-shirt is all about the 60’s and the Latinos making noise in El Barrio. Ray Barretto and his album Acid were hard on the radio. One of the gems on Ray Barretto’s Acid is the title tune, Acid. NYC SALSA is the incendiary sound of Latin New York and that’s what you would be wearing here. In 1970, Latin music in the USA was a crossroads. It was on the verge on breaking out of the barrios of New York and into the wider American musical mainstream, and then on to conquer the rest of the world! Latin music was about to transform itself into “Salsa”,. This marketing makeover would unite all the different strands of Cuban, Puerto Rico, Colombian, Venezuela and Dominican dance music under one banner. Latinos Unidos! by 101 Apparel

Forget the fact that he's an artist, record label owner and writer... PUSHEAD has also created album artwork for Metallica & The Misfits, worked with Dr. Octagon and even released a pair of NIke SB's. If that wasn't enough, he's still pumping it out for the people with these tees he's been doing with Upper Playground. The last tee of his we featured sold out in minutes.... and I'm guessing this one will do the same. This is the Shiskapop Makeover... and it pretty much speaks for itself. by Upper Playground

This t-shirt is for all the Latin Soul and Funk music lovers. Joe Bataan’s Riot! was the biggest-selling Latin music album when it came out in 1968 - that eventful year of urban riots, political protest and cultural awakening across America. The album’s music was the sound of the times: Latin Soul. Anger and ecstasy come together here - the anger over social injustice and the Vietnam War and the ecstatic joy of youth, love and that “good, good feeling.” by 101 Apparel

Upper Playground tribute a baseball legend with this hand drawn print of the great Willie Mays. Nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid", Mays was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility. Many consider him to be the greatest all-around player of all time. It is not clear how Mays became known as the "Say Hey Kid". One story is that in 1951, Barney Kremenko, a writer for the New York Journal, having overheard Mays blurt "'Say who,' 'Say what,' 'Say where,' 'Say hey,'" proceeded to refer to Mays as the 'Say Hey Kid'. The back print of the t-shirt features Mays' jersey number '24'... which also happens to be his record number of all-star appearances... "SAY HEY HEY!" by Upper Playground
